This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Care Manager with a Nursing or a Care background and a passion for high quality care to join our team at Ruth Care Foundation.

 

As a Registered Care Manager, you will be the manager of the Care Service and will be reporting to the Trustees of the Foundation, and part of a tightly knit team responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care service.

 

As we are expending our services through the UK, we are seeking a Volunteer Care Manager who will help us recruit and develop a new team of carers in this new area, provide training, guidance and be able to ensure the swift delivery of outstanding quality care. This will include being responsible for the efficient running of the business, highly compliant quality control, and managing the needs of the patients along with the day-to-day management of internal staff and our Care Professionals.

 

Responsibilities

 

As a Registered Care Manager, you will:

 

Assist in the process of recruitment of a team of carers and volunteeurs

Manage a team of carers and volunteers and, provide them with training to advance our aim

Coordinate the development of a high quality private domiciliary care service

Manage the regulated activity for the office.

Promote the highest standards of care and service

Care planning, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance

Ensure operation of quality control systems

Continually review and improve our processes

Effectively manage complaints and incidents, carry out investigations relating to the quality of the service

Promote a positive culture in line with Ruth Care Foundation values

 

Qualifications

 

To join us as a Registered Care Manager you will have:

 

-Experience in leading, training and managing a team to provide high quality domiciliary care services.

-Have or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services or equivalent diploma/experience.

-Excellent knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the care regulations.

-Strong skills in conducting care assessment and care planning.

-Drive and motivation to develop care services.

-Passionate about providing the highest quality of care.

 

Volunteer can work from home but would be invited to visit our office space in London, on occasion. Expenses will be covered on travel days.
